The equipment is well-built, but installation quality and local support matter more than the nameplate. A contractor who's installed a hundred Mitsubishi Electric systems is worth more than a generalist selling the same brand.
And if your budget can't stretch the 20-30% premium, don't force it. A well-installed conventional unit beats a poorly installed premium one. Every time.
